Base series paints are primarily designed for applying a base coat to miniatures and figurines. Their main feature is their high opacity compared to other series and paints, but they can also be used for highlights, drybrushing, and other painting effects.
The base coat technique is simple. Pre-diluted paint should be applied to the miniatures, ideally in two thin layers. This is done so that all subsequent colors have a base of the optimal color for your painting, not the color of the primer.
The Base series of paints consists of 54 colours, which are supplied in 12 ml jars.
